The essence of being able to loose weight and maintaining our losses, is enjoying a healthy relationship with food. We can strengthen our relationship with food over christmas by not stressing and enjoying our festivities in moderation.
But its often not the planned festive meals where we overindulge. We need to watch the nibbles, treats, extras and left overs.
If you are enjoying a meal you do not need to pick at the Quality Streets, Rose's, Mince Pies, or nibbling as plating up and clearing away.
Support your festive period by being active, go out for a walk rather than sleeping off your meal. This also supports the digestion of food and is a great way of promoting your health and well-being over the festive period.
Remember to keep your water intake up to support your digestion and hydration levels.
It's important that we don't stress about our journey as this can affect both our mental and physical health. Food is supposed to be social and enjoyable.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I look forward to seeing you all at the Weigh-N-Go's next week or in the New Year to work towards our goals.
